| Dargaville
is a great place to stop off on your way up to the Waipoua Forest,
Hokianga Harbour, Cape Reinga and Bay of Islands or coming back
down. Dargaville is the heart of the Kauri Coast and is uniquely
positioned to provide visitors everything that they need to enjoy
their stay.
It takes only 15 minutes by car to the West
Coast (Bayleys Beach, also called Ripiro Ocean Beach) and 45 minutes
to the East Coast (Whangarei). Only two and a half hours from Auckland
Dargaville is also a great place to get away for a few days.
Birchs Bed and Breakfast is set in a 1/2 acre
and just a few minutes to town. A peaceful retreat nestled in half
an acre of cottage gardens yet handy to the town centre. Great for
a weekend escape for city dwellers! On arrival you will receive
a complimentary beverage.
There is a large lounge with fireplace, large
deck with lovely views and a modern kitchen with dining area. There
are two queen size bedrooms and one twin and one single bedroom
which are all tastefully decorated. If you are looking for comfortable
beds, hot showers and the ultimate in cleanliness this is the place
to stay!
Ewan and Anneke will make your stay a welcome
one and are happy to share their local knowledge with you.
